The National Collaborative PhD Program

The Program is designed to:

  1. Reduce the problems of isolation (geographic and intellectual) experienced by many scholars engaged in doctoral studies on city and regional issues;
  2. Improve the completion rates of doctoral candidates in city and regional studies;
  3. Raise the standard of research and doctoral training in city and regional studies;
  4. Create opportunities for young scholars to present their work to multi-disciplinary workshops and conferences;
  5. Establish a network of young scholars from multi-disciplinary backgrounds engaged on research on city and regional issues.

How to apply to attend:

Applications should be lodged through the scholar's supervisor to the Network Administrator.
